WATCH: Rebel group surrenders to Syrian Army in eastern Ghouta

An opposition squad was operating in Kafr Batna city surrendered to the Syrian forces.
According to reports, the group belongs to Faylaq Al-Rahman Islamist faction, surrendered after they trapped in one of the residential blocks during the recent military operations, which led to the liberation of the town.
The video footage below shows the captured rebels walking with the Syrian soldiers in Kafr batna streets.
The Syrian army managed to take control of the entire Hamuriya – Sakba axis, securing tens of thousands of civilians in their homes. Others were transferred to the shelters and provided with health and food care.
