Watch US B 52 strategic bomber taking off from airbase in Qatar over Iran threat

One B 52 strategic bombers from the United States deployed to Qatar to counter unspecified threats from Iran was filmed taking off from the Al-Udeid Air Base, southwest of Doha, on Monday.
Footage shows a B-52H Stratofortress bomber taking off from the military base.
The US Air Force said the plane was part of the 20th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron deployed in defense of US forces and interests in the region.
The aircraft was one of four B-52 bombers which arrived in Qatar on Thursday. The White House also reportedly deployed the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and its associated vessels to the Persian Gulf over the weekend.
On Wednesday, Iran announced a partial withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal.
The announcement came on the anniversary of US President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw the US from the deal.
