Breaking: Lebanon announces formation of new government

Prime Minister-designate Saad al-Hariri presented his cabinet on Thursday to Lebanese President Michel Aoun at the presidential palace, ending nine months of wrangling over the make-up of the government.

Earlier today, Saad al-Hariri said in a speech that “The financial situation is no longer sustainable and there will be no funding for Syrian refugees in the new government.”
