Syrian Army defends Misraba in eastern Ghouta region – official

Yesterday, the Saudi-backed rebel faction of Jaish Al-Islam launched an overnight offensive, storming the Syrian Army positions in the recently taken town of Misraba in eastern Ghouta.
“The Syrian soldiers stood steel, prevented the Islamist groups to advance, drove them out from Misraba following fierce battles” Field source informed Muraselon.
According to the state-run agency of SANA, “More than 3,500 civilians who were besieged by the terrorist organizations in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside have exited through Hamuriyeh corridor”
At the meantime, the Army units stationed in Hammouriah and Saqba are massing forces for upcoming offensive towards Hezzah and Ayn Tarma districts.
