Syrian Army moves in position to strike southeast Idlib (VIDEO)

The Syrian Army troops in southeast Idlib have reportedly moved in position to strike the jihadist rebels near the town of Abu Dali in the Ma’arat Al-Nu’man District.

According to a field report from this area, a variety of armored vehicles and heavy weaponry, including tanks, could be seen being moving into positions in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.

The majority of these troops were comprised of soldiers from the Tiger Forces, who are commanded by Major General Suheil Al-Hassan.

The Tiger Forces were tasked by the Syrian Army’s High Command to lead the main operation near the Abu Dhuhour Crossing in southeast Idlib

The operation in southeast Idlib will only be one part of the Syrian Arab Army’s large-scale offensive in northwest Syria; they will also attack northern Latakia, northern Hama, and the Al-Ghaab Plain (southwest Idlib/northwest Hama).
