Breaking | Syrian Army repels an ISIS attack near Al- Sokhneh in Homs’s countryside

Units from the Syrian Army repelled a ferocious attack launched by the Islamic State terror organization today’s afternoon on advanced checkpoints in the vicinity of the Sokhneh -Deir Ezzor Highway.

A military source informed Muraselon website that the assault was successfully thwarted after the Syrian Army’s detonation of a VBIED that attempted to target one of the checkpoints on the Deir Ezzor – Sokhneh road.

During the violent clashes, the government forces managed to kill several militants while taking a toll of 3 martyrs.
