North Korea successfully tested a new solid-fuelled hypersonic intermediate-range missile (IRBM) topped with a wedge-shaped hypersonic boost-glide vehicle Hwasongpho-16B.
The missile flew approximately 1,000 km and reached a peak altitude of 101 km during the test.
Pyongyang is quite quickly and confidently increasing its hypersonic capabilities.
