Senior US official: Washington is on high alert for a major Iranian attack

A senior American official Told CNN that Washington is on high alert and preparing for a major Iranian attack during the next week .

” US On high alert and actively preparing for possible significant attack by Iran in response to Israeli strike in Damascus . Senior American officials believe that there is no escape from the Iranian attack ” , he  said .

While CBS, citing American officials that Iran will respond to the Israeli attack on its consulate in Damascus no later than the end of Ramadan.

” Any Iranian retaliation inside Israel will target military or intelligence sites ” , they said .
