Israel Bombs Syria targeting site in Damascus CS. – MOD

A field source confirmed to Mursalon News website that explosions were heard in the vicinity of the capital, Damascus .

The source told Mursalon website that the Israeli enemy launched an air strike west of Damascus International Airport, specifically near the Najha area.

While , Israeli sources say that this Israeli strike comes in response to Missiles launched from Syria towards the occupied Syrian Golan.

Later , The Syrian Ministry of Defense said in a Statement : At approximately 05:22 on February 5 /2024 the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a site in the vicinity of Damascus. The aggression resulted in eight soldiers being injured and some material losses

The Israeli raid is considered the first on Damascus after targeting the Iranian embassy in Damascus with several Israeli missiles, which resulted in the killing of a number of Iranian Revolutionary Guard officers.
