IDF admits ‘human error’ and adopts Hamas narrative

The IDF spokesman said in a statement: “Yesterday evening, a picture was published in which the IDF spokesman revealed some of the terrorists who were arrested in recent days by the IDF forces in the area of Al-Shifa Hospital,” noting that “due to human error, some of the photos published are for terrorists who have not yet been arrested, but they are present, according to the information available to us, in the hospital area and are holed up in it.”

After the Israeli army announced yesterday that it had “killed and detained hundreds of fighters at Shifa Medical Hospital in Gaza City” and published their photos, Hamas said the images published by the Israeli army were inaccurate and part of psychological warfare.

“A number of the photos on the list belong to people outside Gaza now and other photos of martyrs,” she said.
