Syrian Democratic Forces Carry Out new military operation against ISIS in Eastern Syria (Video)

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has started a combing operation against the Islamic States, ISIS terrorist fighters in Eastern Deir al-Zour countryside.
The new combing operation carried out in the vicinity of al-Shheell town and its desert which aimed to arrest ISIS sleeper cell agents active in the area.
SDF published a statement saying “Our forces carried out a search campaign in the vicinity of Al-Shuhail town and its desert in the early hours of the morning of May 15, 2019 to arrest the terrorist group of ISIS. The campaign targeted terrorist hideouts in the desert region of al-Shuhail,”
The statement added that the forces had captured 20 terrorists and confiscated weapons and ammunition belonging to the group.

Earlier this week, various media outlets reported that SDF had dispersed a rally against it in Deir al-Zour, killing a protester following a US-led special operations raid on a suspected Islamic State fighters’ hideout in the town which sparked violent protests and attacks on SDF garrisons, three residents and social media footage showed. Eight people were killed in the raid, residents said.
