Syrian Army Shoots down militants armed drone (Video)

The Syrian Army units stationed in the northern countryside of Hama have managed to shoot down an armed drone belong to jihadists that was trying to target the army positions in the area.
The downed drone is identical to the type used in many attacks on the Russian Hmeimim airbase during last year. According to several reports, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria, uses this type of UAVs.
At the same time, Units of the Syrian Army Forces have responded to militants violations of the de-escalation zone agreement and carried out a concentrated bombardments targeting jihadist’s positions and movements on the outskirts of Latamneh and Kafr-Zita towns in northern Hama countryside.
The militants in Idlib province and the nearby countryside of Hama have repeatedly violated the de-escalation zone agreement amid reports that Syrian army is bracing for a wide-scale campaign in Idlib and Hama.
