Rebel infighting renews in Idlib, tension, violence and firefights occurred

Villages and towns in the western countryside of Idlib witnessed clashes between the Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and the National Liberation Front (NLF), killing civilians and militants.

The newly actions took place after the Ahrar Al-Sham (faction belongs to NLF) establishing new headquarter in Jadraya town which was rejected by “HTS” and mobilized its forces to prevent the matter.

Opposition source said that clashes between the two sides were occurred using heavy weapons in several villages in Idlib, including Enb and Jadraya, resulted in killing a number of HTS militants and civilians.

Worth-mentioning that neither of the conflicting parties commented on the recent infighting so far.

It is not the first time that clashes broke out between factions in Idlib, but preceded by several incidents, most notably last year when the HTS dominated most of Idlib.

Northern Syria witnessed several tensions between the “HTS” and “Ahrar Al Sham” movement, which led to armed conflict between the two sides with large number of human losses among them.
