WATCH how Alexander Zakharchenko assassinated in Donetsk
Video footage taken by CCTV cam shows the moment of President of the People’s Republic of Donetsk, Alexander Zakharchenko entering to a cafe where the assassination operation took place.
The video shows Zakharchenko arriving with his motorcade then enters the cafe accompanied by his bodyguards, few moments before a big explosion occurring killing him.
Zakharchenko was assassinated last August by a bomb attack on the Sibar cafe in central Donetsk, an operation that Donetsk accuses Kiev of masterminding.
In April 2014, the Ukrainian authorities began a military operation against the people of the two republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, which had declared their independence unilaterally, to express their opposition to the coup, which took place in Ukraine in February of the same year.
Alexander Zakharchenko was the head of state and Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed-state and a rebel group Donetsk People’s Republic, which declared independence from Ukraine on 11 May 2014.
