The Russian military has initiated a large-scale air-campaign targeting more than 20 villages and hamlets across Al-Qaeda-dominated province of Idlib.
According to opposition media sources, the Russian raids targeted dozens of sites in the countryside of Idlib and Al-Ghab plain, were concentrated in the areas of “Jisr al-Shughur, Jabal al-Zawiya, Mrouj, Al-Shagar, Harsh, Sinjul and more”.
The Russian air-raids come following the recent rebels breach, killing 3 Syrian soldiers by targeting their positions with armed drones in northern Lattakia countryside.
President Trump tweeted yesterday addressing to not attack Idleb because the operation could leave hundreds of people dead.
President Bashar al-Assad of Syria must not recklessly attack Idlib Province. The Russians and Iranians would be making a grave humanitarian mistake to take part in this potential human tragedy. Hundreds of thousands of people could be killed. Don’t let that happen!
