Syrian Army foils rebel infiltration attempt in northwestern Hama

The Syrian government troops thwarted insurgents infiltration attempt on Thursday morning, driving their danger out of Al-Zaullaqiyat village in northern Hama countryside.
State-run agency of SANA reported earlier that “the army units on Thursday clashed with the terrorist groups which attempted to infiltrate through the direction of al-Zalaqiyat village in Mhardeh area in Hama northwestern countryside, killing a number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying their weapons and ammunition.”
The recent rebel action comes after long period of cease-fire situation in the northern countryside of the province.
Worth-mentioning that the Turkish observation outpost is located just few kilometers to the east of Al-Zaullaqiyat village, which is supposed to observe the hostilities actions between the warring parties.
