Video: Mass demonstrations roam E Ghouta areas, welcome Army, condemn rebel groups
“We want the Syrian Arab Army, we don’t want the rebels” this is how the civilians of the eastern Ghouta started their protest that took place in different areas across the besieged enclave.
Tens of residents were holding the Syria Army flag, some the White flag and others sufficed with chanting against the rebel groups, demanding them to leave their areas.
Several videos released online, feature angry mobs walking around their own cites, protesting, requesting the rebels to get out and allow the army to enter.
Civilians gathered in three main opposition-held towns of “Hammouriah”, “Saqba” and “Kafr Batna”, ahead of Syrian Army successful operation that resulted in slicing the eastern Ghouta.
