Syrian units kill prominent jihadi commander in Douma as forces mobilizing

As only the eastern Ghouta’s Douma city is left to announce the complete liberation, Syrian Army forces are preparing for the final push in northeastern Damascus.
As per pro-rebel sources, the Saudi-backed Islamist faction of Jaish Al-Islam mourned today the death of the battle-hardened leader “Abu Mua’az” in Douma’s front-lines of the eastern Ghouta.
The reports emerged that, Abu Mua’az was killed today of his wounds sustained of last week clashes in the eastern outskirts of Douma.
In a related context, The Syrian Army is massing – from different formations – outside of Douma ahead of a full-scale operation to re-claim the last rebel-held city in East Ghouta.
