Orient News reporter surrenders to Syrian Army in Ghouta

Hadi al-Munjed, a reporter for the opposition’s Orient News channel, surrendered himself to the Syrian Army in Eastern Ghouta after exiting rebel areas through the Hamouriya passage according to rebel activists.
Reports close to Munjed confirm that he left from his own choice after growing weary of living inside militant-controlled areas of Ghouta.
Notably, his real name is Bassam Izzedine Da’as and is originally from Maliha village of Damascus countryside.
