The government troops – on Sunday – stormed the years-lasting district of Kafr Batna that stationed in the middle sector of the embattled eastern Ghouta region.
Military sources confirmed to Muraselon, that the combat troops of the Syrian Army managed to take back Kafr Batna city, following fierce clashes with the Islamist groups.
Yesterday, the Syrian Army with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) assistance, secured the exit of thousands of civilians from Saqba town, ahead of military operation resulted in recapturing the town.
Recently, Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) conducted a car bomb attack in Jisreen to recapture the district from the Syrian Army but the assault was repelled.
