BREAKING MAP: Syrian Army liberates more territories from ISIS in Deir Ezzor

Backed by the Russian and Syrian airstrikes, the government troops scored another achievement against the terror group of the Islamic state in Deir Ezzor city.

The entire Huaijat Sakr island and Al-Ommal neighborhood (workers housing) have been restored by the Syrian forces following days-long clashes, military source confirmed.

Yesterday, the elite group of the ‘Tiger Forces’ managed to break-through ISIS defenses in Al-Sina’aa neighborhood (The Industrial District) – located on the southern gate of the city – and regained control over it.

At the meantime, the combat troops are considering next push towards the ‘national stadium’ and the ‘old airport district’ as private source told Muraselon. 

Worth-mentioning that the liberated Huaijat Sakr is where the prominent Syrian commander ‘Isam Zahruddein’ was killed in action.
