Map Update : Syrian Army , allies overrun ISIS in east Homs countryside.

Scores of the Islamic State jihadists were killed as the Syrian Army and allied forces advanced near the T2 pumping station in the eastern countrywide of Homs.

According to a military source, the Syrian forces and allies launched their offensive from Hamimah toward the T2 pumping station through 2 different axes.

The advancing forces 10 km long, 5 km wide swaths of land after deadly clashes with the terrorist group which has lost scores of its militants.

Located in the south-eastern corner of Homs province near the administrative borders of Deir Ezor, the T2 pumping station is one of four other oil refinery plants in Syria and Iraq.
