Lebanese army receives military aid from France (Photos)

The Lebanese army received on Saturday military equipment from France at the port of Beirut, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
According to NNA, the Lebanese army received armored personnel carriers labelled VAB Hot Mephisto and boxes containing spare parts for the carriers.
Over a month ago, French Ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher announced that France had opened a financing account of 400 million euros (449.4 million U.S. dollars) aimed at securing maritime and land defense equipment for Lebanon.
