According to pro opposition sources , 3 Russian helicopters (Ka 52 + MI 17 ) have landed at
Menagh Air Base in North Aleppo countryside, that is under SDF control.
The source said that theses helicopters were flying to secure the entry of a Turkish and Russian delegation to the airport.

On August 2013, the so called Free Syrian Army backed by Al-Qaeda militants took over the air base from the government forces.
Three years later, in February 2016, the Syrian Democratic Forces supported by Russian airstrikes captured Menagh Air Base from the rebels.
