Syrian Army enters Yalda in southern Damascus for first time in years (VIDEO)

Footage filmed from Yalda on Sunday showed soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) as they entered the southern Damascus suburb, reportedly for the first time since 2012.
The footage captures SAA tanks and soldiers on the streets among the Yalda locals.
Local reports say government-backed forces have entered Yalda, from which they will resume the fight against elements of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS) near Yarmouk refugee camp, also in southern Damascus.
This latest move follows an evacuation deal struck between the Syrian government and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) group Ababil, which granted passage for the militants’ relocation to Jarabulus.
