Ghouta Map Update | Syrian Army liberates 44% of East Ghouta areas .

The Syrian forces began, this morning, the 2nd phase of the long-awaited East Ghouta assault with the main aim to split the longtime rebel-controlled stronghold into halves.
Supported by artillery and heavy Russian airstrikes, the government troops broke through rebel defensives at Beit Sawa town , and after a heavy clashes  the town has become under the Army’s control .
Military source told Muraselon that the Syrian Army is 1.2 km to split the longtime rebel-controlled stronghold into halves.
Earlier today, the government troops fully restored the Army’s Tank Maintenance Base located just outside Hawsh Asha’ari town.
