Breaking Map || Syrian Army takes over new town from East Ghouta rebels

The Syrian forces began, this morning, the 2nd phase of the long-awaited East Ghouta assault with the main aim to split the longtime rebel-controlled stronghold into halves.
Supported by artillery and heavy Russian airstrikes, the government troops broke through rebel defensives at Beit Sawa town, located in the middle axis of East Ghouta.
Informed military sources confirmed to MURASELON that the town has become entirely under the Army’s control, following fierce battles with the militants.
Meanwhile, the attack launched by the Nusra-affiliated Faylaq al-Rahman terror group on al-Muhammadiyah town – liberated by SAA yesterday – has been successfully repelled. Scores of the attackers have been reported dead and wounded.
Earlier today, the government troops fully restored the Army’s Tank Maintenance Base located just outside Hawsh Asha’ari town.
