Watch: Islamist fighters destroy three tanks for HTS group in west Aleppo

The Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) ultraconservative Islamist group (which has links to Al-Qaeda) has lost three battle tanks and a BMP aromored vehicle to rival militia Jabhat Tahrir Souriya (JTS) after the latter conducted a surprise attack with anti-tank missiles in west Aleppo province.
The clashes took place south of Daraat Izzah which now acts has a stronghold for JTS after it expelled HTS from the town over a week ago.
HTS employed multiple armored vehicles including tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to try recapture areas from JTS in western Aleppo – including Daraat Izzah.

However the tank assault quickly turned into a slaughter for HTS after JTS missile teams engaged and destroyed multiple armored vehicles.
