Meet the "Storming battalion" of the 9th division that lifted the vehicles base siege in Haratsa

The “Storming Battalion” or Katibat Al-Iqtiham, an elite unit was formed since the beginning of the Syrian war for swift offensives in multiple battle conditions.
Fought against the militants in several front-lines across the Daraa governorate, the “storming battalion” of the 9th armored division had deployed in eastern Ghouta battleground.
Led by colonel ‘Ali Fandi’, the combat troops were able to achieve remarkable fulfillment in breaking the siege imposed by eastern Ghouta rebels on the military vehicles base of Harasta.
Their first task was accomplished thwarting the danger of the jihadist rebels on the vehicles base as they are preparing for the next push most probably in Daraa, according to military source.
