Trump: Israel must destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities

Former US President Donald Trump said on Saturday, during an event at a town hall in North Carolina, that a possible Israeli strike against Iran should primarily target its nuclear facilities.

Israeli officials vowed to retaliate against Iran after it fired several hundred ballistic missiles towards Tel Aviv, in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, and senior commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Abbas Nilforushan.

Iranian President Masoud bazhakian said that his government is not seeking a war with Israel, but will face any threat in a resolute manner.

“When they asked him [ Biden meant] this question, the answer should have been: nuke first and worry about the rest later,”Trump said on Friday.

US President Joe Biden has said that he does not support Israel bombing Iranian nuclear sites in response to Iran’s second air attack earlier this week, as he fears that this could provoke further retaliation and push the region into an All-Out War.
