Israeli F-15 Jet Takes Damage During Emergency Landing

An F-15 fighter jet of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) made an emergency landing in Tel Nof Air Base, located approximately 25 kilometers to the south of Tel Aviv city, on April 11 after suffering from a technical malfunction, according to the Israeli Occupation Public Broadcasting Corporation, known as Kan in Hebrew.

The fighter Jet sustained damage after the landing, Kab reported, noting that the incident didn’t result in any casualties.

The IAF’s F-15 fleet is Israel’s primary weapon for long-range strikes. Interestingly enough, the incident at Tel Nof Air Base was reported right after the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had visited an undisclosed F-15 base.

During his visit, Netanyahu vowed to retaliate against any attack Iran could launch in response to the April 1 Israeli strike on the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus, which claimed the lives of 13 people, including senior commanders from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
