Units of the Syrian Army have carried out a successful ambush against the Islamist rebels of Harasta suburb in eastern Damascus, killing scores of them.
On Saturday, a special force squad of the Syrian army, managed to blast key jihadists building located near the major government vehicles base in Harasta district.
Video footage released by pro-government reporter, on social media, shows moment of the explosion occurred against an Islamist rebels fortified building block.
As a result, scores of rebels were eliminated along with their equipment, military source cited.
Meanwhile, the defensive units in the ‘vehicles base’ are considering counter-attack to reclaim the nearby lost points that were captured by recent rebels’ offensive.
