In his daily briefing, the Russian military official said that three of the attacks took place in the countryside of Idlib and the other was in the Aleppo countryside.

The official also reported that the SAA foiled an infiltration attempt by the terrorist groups close to the town of Urum al-Sughra in the western countryside of Aleppo. The terrorists were pushed back and Syrian troops didn’t take any losses, he said.

Just two days earlier, the Syrian Ministry of Defense said that the SAA shot down 15 drones launched by terrorist groups over the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo.

Most of the downed drones were commercially-available quadcopters, either armed with small unguided munitions or modified for FPV suicide attacks. Few others were locally-made fixed-wing suicide drones which are usually used in attacks behind the front.
