New attack targets US forces in eastern Syria

Field sources confirmed hearing explosions in the sky of the US base in the Conoco gas field in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria.

For its part, the British-based Syrian Observatory said that the American base was attacked by suicide drones.
The observatory confirmed that American forces were able to shoot down a drone.

It added that American forces targeted deployment points of forces supporting the Syrian army deployed in the Al-Jafra area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

For its part, media sources in Al-Hasakah said that the US base in the Al-Shaddadi area in the countryside of Al-Hasakah was also subjected to a missile attack without information about any damage.

This comes a day after the Pentagon announced the implementation of nine airstrikes on positions of forces supporting the Syrian army in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which it said targeted its forces with missiles
