BREAKING | Yemen air defenses shot down a US MQ9 drone

Yemeni media said tonight that the Yemen air defenses was able to shot down a US MQ9 drone in the airspace of Saada, northwest Yemen.

No official statement has been issued by the spokesman for the Yemeni forces, Yahya Saree, so far.

The Yemeni forces have previously shot down several American drones of this type.

Since the start of the Gaza war, the number of American drones shot down in Yemeni airspace has reached about 13.
