US Warplanes Bomb The Yemeni Capital Sanaa

Yemeni media said that huge explosions were heard in several parts of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, as a result of US-British raids on it a short while ago.

Yemeni media added that US aircraft launched four air strikes on Al Nahdain and Al Hafa areas in Al Sabeen District in Sanaa .

Eyewitnesses reported seeing fire and smoke rising from the site of the airstrikes.

There is no information about the extent of human or material losses resulting from the air strikes.

The US airstrikes are the second in 24 hours after Yemeni forces shot down a US MQ-9 drone.
