What we know so far about the Israeli attack on Iran

Operation Days of Repentance involved more than a hundred aircraft, including F-35s, which covered about 2,000 km. The first strikes were aimed at the air defense systems of the Syrian Arab Republic to ensure unimpeded flight for Israeli aircraft.

After that, the aircraft hit the Iranian air defense/missile defense forces and launched a missile strike on the main targets.

The Israeli operation was based on the first point from the list of possible targets, The aircraft hit UAV and missile production facilities in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam. Moreover, Israel informed Iran of its plans in advance through third countries and asked not to respond. Tel Aviv listened to Washington and did not strike nuclear and oil facilities to prevent a larger-scale escalation of the conflict.

Iran stated that air defense systems managed to intercept most of the missiles. However, some of them reached military targets and caused limited damage.

Two soldiers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in the strikes. Eyewitnesses filmed dozens of videos of Israeli missiles being intercepted.
