satellite images show Israel struck Iran’s major Shahroud space center

PlanetLabs satellite images show that on 10/26/24 Israel struck Iran’s major Shahroud space center, which is used to build solid rocket engines , the New York Times reported .

AP released high-quality satellite images showing damage from an Israeli strike on the IRGC Aerospace Forces missile center in Shahrud, Semnan province.

Notably, while a building reportedly used for solid-fuel rocket engine production was hit, there’s minimal evidence of major fires or secondary explosions.

This suggests that Iran may have preemptively relocated critical assets from likely target sites in anticipation of such attacks.
