Yemeni Armed Forces announces the downing of the seventh $30 million MQ9 drone since 7 October.

The air defense forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces shot down an American aircraft type (MQ_9) while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of Saada Governorate, using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile, The military spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Yahya Al-Sari’a, said in a statement.

This aircraft is the seventh of its type that was shot down during the battle in support of Gaza.

The US military did not immediately acknowledge the shooting down.

Back on May 17, Saree said Yemeni forces had downed another US MQ-9 Reaper drone over the southeastern province of Ma’rib.
