US jets carry out Heavy air strikes on Yemeni Areas .

Yemeni media said that huge explosions were heard in different areas of Yemen on Monday evening.

Yemen’s Al-Mushira TV said that US warplanes carried out Five air strikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah airport so far .

Al-Masirah TV also reported that Kamaran Island was hit by four air strikes by US fighter jets.

Kamaran Island is located opposite the city of Hodeidah on Yemen’s coast.

The U.S. strikes come two days after Yemeni forces targeted a ship with several missiles that are now sinking in the Red Sea.

The White House announced in a statement on Monday that it would impose sanctions on Houthi individuals and entities in Yemen.
