US Forces successfully destroyed seven Yemeni (UAVs) and ground control station vehicle

In the past 24 hours, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces successfully destroyed seven Yemeni uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) and one ground control station vehicle in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

It was determined the UAVs and the ground control station presented an imminent threat to U.S., coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region.

These actions were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure.

This comes hours after the Yemeni media announced that sites in Yemen were subjected to several air strikes by American warplanes.
