US Command confirmed , Houthis bombed an UK ship in Red Sea

The US Central command confirmed that a British ship was hit by a missile strike by Yemeni forces that damaged it .

“Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen into the Red Sea in the vicinity of MV MAISHA, an Antiqua/Barbados flagged, Liberia operated vessel and MV Andromeda Star, a UK owned and Panamanian flagged, Seychelles operated vessel. MV Andromeda Star reports minor damage, but is continuing its voyage” ,US Central command said on its page on ” X” .

There are no injuries or other damage reported by U.S., coalition, or commercial ships at this time , US command added .

Earlier Yesterday ,  A ship was damaged when it was attacked twice by at least two missiles while traveling off Yemen’s coast on Friday, British maritime security agency UKMTO

The Master has reported two attacks. The first attack, the vessel experienced an explosion in close proximity to the vessel, which was felt by the crew on board. Subsequently, the second attack on the vessel, consisted of what is believed to be two missiles, which resulted in damage to the vessel.” UKMTO said in ot Report.

also , The Yemeni armed forces announced the targeting of a British oil ship in Red Sea and the downing of a US MQ9 drone ,Yemeni military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statemen published on Friday evening.
