US denies involvement in bombing of PMF military base

The US Central Command issued a statement denying its responsibility for launching air strikes on the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq .

” We are aware of reports claiming that the United States conducted airstrikes in Iraq today. Those reports are not true. The United States has not conducted air strikes in Iraq today” , It said on its page on the X platform

While , a US official tells PBS News that the explosion at the PMF base in Iraq is believed to have been caused by an Israeli airstrike .

Earlier Today  , Massive explosions due to the unidentified bombing of a headquarters belonging to the Popular Mobilization Forces, Iraqi Armed Forces and Federal Police at Kalsu base in Babel, Iraq.
