The Iranian Foreign Minister inaugurates the new Iranian consulate in Syria

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has officially inaugurated the new Iranian consulate in Damascus, after visiting the site where a senior Iranian military advisor in Syria was assassinated by the Israeli Attack last week.

Amirabdollahian, who is on an official visit to Syria, visited the previous building of Iran’s consulate in Damascus, which was destroyed in an Israeli strike last Monday.

Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a senior commander and military advisor of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) to Syria, and six other Iranians were killed in the attack.
