A suicide drone hit military base in Eilat as Israeli military Issued a statement

Israel’s Red Sea port city of Eilat came under an aerial attack on Monday that caused no casualties, the military said .

The military’s statement said a flying object launched from east of Israel had struck a building in Eilat. it did not elaborate on the object or the provenance. Sirens went off in the city but there was no interception by air defenses, it said.

Later, the Israeli army issued a statement said  that a drone launched from Iraq hit an Israeli military base in Eilat.

while , Israeli media asked the IDF by saying ” The drone took off from Iraq and passed through Jordan unintercepted and damaged a building in the city, and the air force will have to verify that defense systems failed, for the second time in two weeks, to intercept bombers towards Eilat.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, Iraqi Group , said in a statement that it had attacked a “vital objective” in Israel “using appropriate weapons.” It did not offer further details .
