21 Syrian-Palestinian fighters were martyred in an ISIS ambush east of Homs, Syria

At least 21 pro-government fighters were killed on Thursday evening, after targeting an overnight bus with an ambush carried out by ISIS in the axis of Sukhna-Taybeh in the Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs, filed source told Muraselon news

The sources said that the armed attack led to the death of 21 members of the Al-Quds  Brigade of the Syrian army, the injury of another and the burning of the bus that was carrying them.

The sources pointed out that the attack occurred around six in the evening on Thursday, noting that the bodies of the martyrs were transferred to the hospital, noting that this attack is not the first of its kind in that area, as cars carrying members of the army and auxiliary forces in the same axis were attacked by gunmen, in addition to planting explosive devices on the road.

On January 9, 2024, 9 soldiers from the Syrian army were killed and 22 others were wounded after a bus was targeted east of the third station in the Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs.
