The Houthis tried to target an American destroyer in the Red Sea : US Says

ThebUnited States Central CommandIt said that the Yemeni forces (Houthis) tried to target an American destroyer in the Red Sea through drones .

It said in a statement on the “X” platform that US forces were able to destroy 4 Yemeni drones that were targeting a US destroyer in the Red Sea.

“United States Central Command successfully engaged and destroyed four long-range unmanned aerial systems (UAS) launched by  in Yemen.These UAS were aimed at a U.S. warship and engaged in self-defense over the Red Sea” , US said

There were no injuries or damage reported to U.S. or coalition ships , Central CommandIt added
