Armed Team of a ship clashe with small craft occupants near Yemen cost : UKMTO

The British maritime security agency (UKMTO) said in statement :

UKMTO has received a report of an incident 102NM South East of Nishtun, Yemen.

Master reported 1 small craft approached within approximately 1 cable of the vessel.

Armed Security Team and small craft occupants exchanged small arms fire. Small craft then departed the area.

Vessel and crew are reported to be safe and vessel is heading to next port of call.
