Syria : Dozens killed in Aleppo due to double attack by Israel and terrorist groups

On Thursday night – Friday, multiple sites in the city of Aleppo and its countryside were subjected to a double attack by the Israeli enemy and terrorist groups, resulting in the martyrdom of many civilians and military personnel.

A Syrian military source explained that at exactly one o’clock and 45 am, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the direction of Athriya southeast of Aleppo, targeting a number of points in the countryside of Aleppo, in conjunction with a drone attack carried out by terrorist organizations from Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo in an attempt to target civilians in the city of Aleppo and its surroundings.

The aggression resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians and military personnel and the loss of material damage to public and private property.

For its part, Reuters reported, citing sources, that the Israeli raids and drone shelling led to the death of more than 32 people, both civilians and military.

The Israeli enemy targeted sites in the vicinity of Aleppo International Airport and in the oasis area of Safira and in Sheikh Najjar and a number of other sites in the countryside of Aleppo, according to a field source told Muraselon news .

During the Israeli air attack, terrorist groups launched an attack on the positions of the Syrian army in the axis of Oram al-Sughra and Kafr ‘ama, in conjunction with their use of drones.

Syrian army units worked to counter the attack, killing several people in the ranks of the Al-Ghuraba battalion of the terrorist Al-Nusra Front.

The Syrian army’s strikes caused deaths and injuries in their ranks, especially in the Khirbet al-Naqous axis in the Al-Ghab Plain, where terrorist organizations admitted killing three militants and wounding others.
