The Russian Defense Ministry said Monday that the Syrian Army foiled massive assault by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly Nusra Front in northern Hama countryside.

About 450 militants, seven tanks, five infantry fighting vehicles and 12 technical vehicles took part in the attack, also the militant attack was supported by fire from three MLRS rocket launchers.

During the attack, the Syrian troops led by Tiger forces managed to destroy three tanks, an IFV, two MLRS and six technical vehicles as well as killing and injuring around 100 militants.

Yesterday, the Syrian Arab Army managed in a swift offensive to capture the strategic town of Kafr Nabudah after heavy clashes with militants in the area who tried to recapture the town from the army troops at night.
